Compassionate, trauma‑informed counselling in-person and across British Columbia.
Meet Shannon, RCC
A Registered Clinical Counsellor practicing in South Surrey – White Rock and virtually across British Columbia.
I offer a compassionate, grounded space for reflection and growth, where your story is honoured, and your voice is truly heard. My work is rooted in the belief that people benefit from having space to slow down, feel supported, and explore their experiences without judgment, at a pace that feels manageable.
I am deeply interested in people and in the meaning behind their experiences. I work primarily with adults and families navigating concerns related to eating disorders, disordered eating, body image, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, and ongoing stress. Many of the people I work with feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve them or are carrying experiences that have not had space to be acknowledged. Together, we focus on building understanding, self‑awareness, and meaningful change in a way that feels steady and sustainable.
My approach is relational and trauma‑informed, with attention to emotional regulation, nervous system support, and the ways stress and lived experience shape our internal worlds and relationships. I aim to be both supportive and honest, offering gentle reflection and thoughtful challenge when it is helpful. I strive to create a space that feels calm, collaborative, and grounded—where healing does not have to happen alone, and where you can move toward a life that feels more connected, balanced, and authentic.
